What You Up To?
So, how you doin’? 2018 been good so far? I have been quite busy over the last month or so. What have you been up to? In the recent weeks I have been working with individuals a lot more. What does that mean? Well, I have a passion to see the potential of individuals realised even if they don’t directly run a business. Even is someone just wants to get better about their own life and move from stuckness to growth I help them break the shackles of their past and move towards their future while living in the present.
I am currently working with various individuals in order to help them gain insight in to their beliefs and behaviours so that they can break their own mold and start a new chapter in their lives.
After engaging more individuals this year I received some of the best feedback this morning. Unexpectedly, I received feedback from a friend of a coachee. It went something like this:
Friend: “Morning J-D how are you”
Me: “Hi, Maxine, good, how about you?”
Friend: “I am really good!”
Me: “You seem very positive, what’s up?”
Friend: “Well, remember Luke that I referred to you for coaching?”
Me: “Off course!”
Friend: “Well after just one session I can already see change in him!”
Me:
…Well I can’t really explain what that means to me an my response basically left me speechless. The fact that other people are seeing change in the life of someone that I am coaching is simply the fulfillment of purpose! I am both excited and tearful at the same time.
The System
How did I get so much done in such little time? I use the Enneagram as a coaching tool to help individuals get insight into their fears, desires and limiting beliefs. It is a very old system that works very well and can be used to sustain growth and change. I have been using it myself for more than a decade and it has been invaluable in recognising my self-destructive patterns and rewriting them.
A lot of this is because I have (and still do) undergo a refresher of what it means to be loved by a God that never backs down. Their is only one Source where your most important questions can be answered – Yes, you’re worth it. Yes, you have tremendous potential. Don’t compare yourself to other people. Rather, ask yourself if you have a stirring in your heart, a longing, a desire that is not answered.
I hope you never stop hungering for your true self and the potential that is ready to burst forth like a wave of energy. It won’t be easy, but with the help of a coach that can use a powerful system like the Enneagram you are able to overcome the challenges along the way. I hope you continuously move from simply surviving to truly living!
Actions
So what’s next for you? Perhaps you need to take small action? Perhaps you need to take big action? Are you someone that has a desire to do meaningful work and contribute to society? If answered yes to any of these questions I suggest you sit down with a journal (if you haven’t done so already) and then identify the answer to any of those questions.
For small actions, think about changing some routines, diet or relationships in order to break out of your pattern. For the big action items ask yourself which one thing, if you change it, will have the best impact and give you more energy? If you want to do more meaningful work, l suggest you identify what is what you want and how will you know when you have it? The Enneagram is also one of the best ways to shift big things.
If you get stuck you can always contact me so that we can see what your needs are in a free half an hour Skype session and perhaps create a specific coaching solution for you that doesn’t break the bank.
Whatever you do, take up the cause and go from survive to alive!
