There is no doubt that we are living in significant times. Both troubling and exciting. In all the chaos there is no shortage of opportunity – opportunity to serve and have a Kingdom aligned impact. Our mandate remains that we are here to be fruitful and multiply and make disciples of all nations. They are inseparable. In order to keep our focus we need to avoid the times of confusion. During this challenging time that we are going through as a global family, I see in myself and others a decreased level of motivation. If you look up the original meaning it of the word it emphasizes movement; or ‘to move’. I see in myself and others less movement. The word burnout is being used more frequently as well as resilience. It would also seem like we have even higher levels of stress and anxiety than ever before. As you might know, within the Christian tradition, our human condition is defined by the choices Adam and Eve made. You might recall, Eve was seduced by the Enemy into believing that there is another way to become God-like than eat from the tree of life.

Coming from the charismatic Christian environment I was exposed to some amazing spiritual experiences and practices as far back as I can remember. I have parents that have been followers of the Way my entire life. They remain an amazing example and inspiration to me. Yes, you have a unique voice! It is your purpose or raison d’être (as the French say). In my previous posts we looked at spiritual intelligence and our connection with the Divine. Let’s talk more about finding your voice as the next part of your spiritual intelligence. There is a lot of talk about purpose at the moment because we moved away from a monotheistic paradigm when science took over. We generally through out spirituality with religion.
